The sixth edition of Art New York will take place on May 8-10, 2020 with a VIP preview on Thursday May 7th. This edition will be a refinement based on the lessons we have learned in New York over the years. Art New York initially launched as "The Downtown Fair" in 2015 at the Lexington Avenue Armory. It was conceived as a boutique fair with a highly curated "modern and contemporary" focus. That original event will form the blueprint for the 2020 edition

In addition to a smaller footprint of approximately 60 international galleries, it will feature the following:

A new location with easier access to the Frieze Ferry, the Eastside, Tribeca, Downtown and Brooklyn.

New affiliations that will expand the involvement of the local creative community

A new vision for a more manageable, meaningful experience

Currents/Spotlight, will feature galleries that represent emerging artists or focus on rediscovery of important mid-career artists.

A new section featuring younger primary galleries representing emerging artists displaying new works

A new project space offering local museum and independent curators the opportunity to present innovative programs.

An advisory committeee of arts professionals.
