Location Katonah
Dates June 03, 2018 - June 03, 2018
Description: Antiques and Artisan Fair, to be held on the grounds of the historic Lasdon Park and Arboretum in Katonah, New York. The show will take place on June 3. Lasdon Park and Arboretum is an historic setting, well-situated and with road visibility on Route 35, with easy access from Rt. 100 and exit 6 off Rt. 684.

Along with a large aray of antiques, the show will feature skilled artisans who create beautiful objects in many media, including wood, basketry, jewelry, and textiles. This will add a fresh dimension to the traditional antiques show and should bring in a more diverse group of buyers. The show will be both on an open field, where you may bring your own tents, and in assigned booth spaces under a larger multi vender tent.

The Arboretum will be holding its own flower show on the grounds the same weekend, which will bring in even more customers (they estimate a gate of 600-800). Advertising will include Show Cards, print ads in antiques and local publications, facebook, Instagram, email blasts to both my own email list and the Park's list, a listing on Lasdon Park's website, and a large sign on the property that will be seen from the road and Lawn signs. The Friends of Lasdon Park will also have their own booth at the antiques and artisan Fair to sell flowers. We have also aranged for the very popular food truck, Fork in the Road will also be on the field.

The park was purchased by William and Mildred Lasdon in 1939, where they lived in the 1933 house which was a copy of George Washington's Mount Vernon. The Lasdon family were great travelers, and had a passion for horticulture; thus creating a series of gardens on the property with international flavor. This is an ideal setting in which to display your wares in a high-traffic and well-heeled area. Because of the pristine quality of the property, absolutely no pets are allowed.
