This 7th annual Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition & Festival will run from June 5th 10th, 2018 and will again be held under the auspices of the Ontario County Arts Council. This event will feature as many as forty-five talented artists from across the country who will paint the beauty of Canandaigua and the Finger Lakes, outdoors, rain or shine.

This premier festival not only attracts numerous art collectors and appreciators, it also offers many opportunities for the community to participate, discover and explore the contemporary plein air painting movement in their own backyard. The Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition & Festival culminates at historic Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua in an exclusive Saturday evening opportunity to meet the artists and purchase artwork. A free and open to the public exhibition and sale will be held on the final day of the event Sunday, June 10th.
