Since its inception in 1970, 100 American Craftsmen has focused exclusively on fine craft art, supporting both established artisans who have reached the highest level of artistic quality, and nurturing new artisans who combine innovative approaches with traditional crafting techniques.

The event takes place indoors at the Kenan Center Arena located on the 25-acre Kenan Center campus in the heart of historic Lockport, NY. It attracts an average of 4,200 avid craft lovers each year. For almost 50 years, the Kenan Center has served the community with arts, education and recreation programs. The Center is located a short drive from the Erie Canal, the Niagara Wine Trail, and 20 minutes from Niagara Falls.

100 American Craftsmen is a juried craft show. Artisan images are reviewed by a panel of artisans, curators, and craft media specialists and scored. The cumulative score determines acceptance. Master Craftsmen and previous Best of Show winners (since 2005) are jury exempt. The Kenan Center reserves the right to invite artisans to exhibit for the purpose to expanding our roster of artisans and adding diversity to the show. All artisans must jury every year unless exempt, and previous acceptance does not guarantee future acceptance. Artisans are strongly encouraged to replace images that have not been updated in more than three years as poor quality and/or out-dated work can impact your jury score.
