Please join us in celebrating the 35th annual Schuyler County Italian American Festival on August 1, 2, 3, 2014. As always, the festival will be held at Clute Park, Rt. 414 in Watkins Glen, NY on the southern shore of beautiful Seneca Lake.

If you love festivals .....then this is one you won't want to miss! The Italian American people, known for their love of family, food and friends are the foundation and spirit of this festival.

Each day the 2014 event will include the midway with about 40 craft and gift vendors and 20 food concessions; Amusement rides, games and concessions by Main Event Amusements out of Solvay, NY; Casino games; Bingo; and legal beverages. This link also includes a full menu for each food vendor located along the midway. Also on the Festival Events page is the Festival Site Map, which can be viewed or downloaded, showing the location of all of the festival events, as well as the location of every vendor.

In order to assure a safe, enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere with the focus on family fun, outside alcohol is prohibited on the festival midway and the amusement area. Our staff provides a large, comfortable and inviting "beer & wine garden" where alcoholic beverages can be purchased and consumed. The beer garden is a great place to meet with friends or make new ones and it includes a tent with seating for those who want to relax in the shade or enjoy a beverage with a meal from one of the many food concessions.

Daily highlights include a live band to be announced soon on Friday. On Saturday the bocce tournament begins at 10 a.m., One of the biggest parades in the region starts at noon, a Roman Catholic Mass will be held in the pavilion, followed by a pasta eating contest which is open to the public. The festival feature performance will be MIDNIGHT SPECIAL - "The Classic Rock Experience" who will rock the sound stage beginning at 8 PM in the evening. Festival visitors can come to enjoy this well known national touring band with FREE ADMISSION and NO COVER CHARGE. The band will take a break while the festival presents the best fireworks display in the area with our famous ground-shaking finale at 10:15 PM. When the firworks concludes the band will continue their performance until 11:30 PM. Sunday will feature amazing skateboard and roller blade stunts at the on-site skate park; a motorcycle show with prizes awarded for several categories, and music all day at the beer and wine garden. Other special events will be added to the agenda as planning continues.

Except for the amusements, all of the entertainment is free. There is no admission fee to the festival and parking on Clute Park grounds is only $5 per vehicle, with no time limit, so you can park all day and enjoy all the festival has to offer. There are plenty of handicapped parking spaces available.
