Pickin' In The Pasture is known as "the destination" for traditional bluegrass music in NY State by the many fans that return year after year. We appreciate the strong support that bluegrass enthusiasts have given the event as we continue to make upgrades and improvements. Pickin' In The Pasture is large enough to be able to feature a professional quality stage show yet small enough to maintain a friendly family atmosphere. Festival goers comment that the event offers the best value for the admission price in the northeast.

Many people that camp at Pickin' In The Pasture use it as their home base to visit attractions in the Finger Lakes region. While you are here be sure to tour the nearby wineries, check out the local Amish crafts and goods, throw your line in the lake or hike one of the gorges that the area is known for.

The gate will open by noon on Wednesday and the stage show features world-class bluegrass music from Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.

Pickin' In The Pasture has the reputation for some of the best jamming in the northeast. Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, you'll find some great pickin'. The festival has become a bluegrass musician's summit where each year many of the most outstanding players and singers gather in the campground to share their talents.
